This was a very interesting project. The architect
wanted a maple flooring covered doorway that was flush with the wall. We
used the same boards all the way across the wall and door so that the
grain pattern was constant and the door appeared to be part of the
wall. |

With the door open, you can see the clear grain, red cedar siding
on the outside. |

From the outside the door appears to be part of the
siding. Continuous grain patterns from the walls and to outside of the
door were used to improve the integral look. |
