| I made this blanket chest for my daughter's
19th birthday from Oregon ash. The corners were joined using dovetails |

| The three drawers are dovetailed and the
fronts are cut out of the face of the chest so that the grain matches. The
pulls were carved from ash also. |

|
The top is hinged on dowels and the
inside is lined with cedar boards. There is no metal hardware anywhere on
this chest. |
